Metropolis Pay by Plate is a ticketless system using car registration entry at any machine on the 44 digit user interface panel. The machines are linked to a central enforcement database for tracking and enforcement pushing data out in real-time to handheld PDA units.  Information searching is also available on-screen at the machines. This model can be integrated to a 3rd party enforcement scheme such as Licence Plate Recognition Cameras. The largest site in Australasia using Pay by Plate machines is in Brisbane with the Council operating over 1,000 Metro Series Pay by Plate meters to control 8,500 spaces. More details >>

Communicating in real time to its management system the Metropolis Pay by Plate offers customer payment options such as Coin, Banknotes, On-line Credit Card, Eftpos and Mobile Phone. The Pay by Plate model can also operate in 'Pay & Display mode' by issuing a ticket for displaying on the dashboard.
